About

I find the person inside the work, and get you close enough to feel what's at stake.

I'm a creative director. For nearly a decade I've been the embedded creative and technology lead inside NASA research programs — not an agency hired to make a thing, but someone in the room with the scientists and the engineers until I understood the problem better than any brief could, then building whatever made it legible to people who'd never read the research.

It started in 2010, as an intern at NASA's lunar science institute, before I could legally rent a car. I built a studio — Marqui Labs — and have run it for a decade, directing films, live broadcasts, brand, and the platforms that carry them across NASA SSERVI, Aeronautics, and Space Technology, alongside brand and campaign work beyond NASA. Two Emmys and four Webbys came out of the 2024 eclipse broadcast. A platform I redirected shaped a white paper to Congress.

The work I'm proudest of I didn't make alone. I assemble and direct teams — designers, editors, cinematographers, engineers — that scale to twenty-plus specialists at peak across concurrent programs, and I've hired and mentored people who've gone on to Google, Adobe, Moody's, NASA, and Sui. I know what every layer takes because I've done every layer; that's how I lead the people who are better at it than me.

Underneath all of it is one thing, and it's the person on the other end. The rest is delivery.
